Flt Sgt Steve Beattie died tragically when an RAF Nimrod crashed in Afghanistan. 13 Other servicemen diedin the incident.
Steve was a systems operator serving with 120 Squadron.
Steve will will be sadly missed by his wife Shona, Daughter Bethany, 12 and son Cameron, 9.
At Steve's funeral, daughter Bethany's message on a blue and white Saltire wreath said: "I really miss you. It feels like you are still here. Have fun with your friends in heaven."
Nine-year-old brother Cameron - wearing his dad's medals for the Remembrance Day funeral - wrote: "Miss you lots."
Shona's wreath of white roses bore the message: "It was an honour to be your wife. You helped me to grow and realise love and beauty in our lives. I know you will be waiting for me."
Steve's brother-inlaw Gary Abel read the eulogy, saying: "His family was the most important part of his life."
